In West Java yesterday, there was a Earthquake that was measured to be a 7.0 on the richter scale. Many homes were destroyed and so far 40 people have been found dead. We talked to people from Pekalongan who told us a bit about it. They said it started around 2-3pm and went for about 5 minutes.

A keitai shousetsu is a Cell Phone Novel that started off being created and shared around by Japanese women about all kinds of short stories about love and relationships. They’re constantly getting more and more popular and people use them to share stories about all kinds of things now. Most novels consist of about 1000-2000 words or around 70 word chapters and the spacing between words and line could be used to give the reader an idea of what kind of emotion the story has at the time.

World Wide Web
MS Excel Macros
what appealed to you about each?
The MS Excel video explained very clearly how to make macro’s and buttons using MS Excel, And the other one explained in simple English how the World Wide Web works.
Which one was the best? Why?
I found the one about MS Excel better because it was easier to understand and it was more relevant to me and useful.
Would you prefer to watch tutorials on a video or read them as text format? Why or why not?
I find it much easier to watch tutorials on a video to learn rather than reading because you can see exactly what they’re doing and how they do it. Sometimes when you read Text Formats you can get confused and won’t understand it clearly.
