My favourite holiday would have to be Christmas, because theres no school for about 6 weeks. We have a great big BBQ, consisting of sausages, hamburgers, bacon, chops, onions and a nice bit of steak and some salad. Most of the time we have alot of family members come over which is good because I don’t see them all that often.
I got to sleep in all week, and I went shooting with Tav, and a few others and watched tav shoot his first rabbit with a .22, we had two .22’s and a 12 gauge.
I did Work Experience at Portland Aluminium doing Accounting. I had alot of early morning because I had to start at 7:30 most mornings so I had to wake up at about 6:00-6:30. The first Two-three days, I didn’t do to much because I had to do a level one and two induction which showed all the safety hazards around the plant, and allowed me to walk around the plant by myself. I had to wear Natural fibred jeans and a Natural fibred shirt, along with Safety glasses, Hardhat and boots and a Respirator has to be worn at all times in dusty rooms such as the PotRooms so you can breathe. The fourth and fifth day I sat in through alot of meetings to find out where the company was spending to much money and where they weren’t spending enough money, I done a bit of work running spreadsheets on the computer.
My favourite thing would have to be going shooting, it’s always good to get out of the house for a bit.
My most precious thing would have to be my Dog, (Dekoda). It’s a Jack russel. We bought it to be a shooting dog. It’s about a year old. It’s a female and is very quiet and spoiled.

Emily: How many years do you go to school before colledge or university?
We go to school for about 13 years before University.
Amanda: What sports do you play there? Any sports you do that are different from around the world? What are the most popular?
We play a lot of Cricket and A.F.L (Australian Football League). We do play other sports, but these seem to be the most common, and probaly more different then some of the other sports we play.
Katelyn: Are the foods in Australia the same as in Canada or do they eat weird things like ants ???
I don’t think we eat anything to unusual, well i don’t anyway. One of our most aussie meals would be a Barbieque consisting of snags (saugages), Hamburgers, Chops and a bit of Steak!
What is the best thing about living where you do?
The best thing about living where i do would be the peace and quiet and not living in the middle of a big city.

Our school is unique because it only has about 250 students and it’s involved in alot of activities.
